John Hadwen, CFA

John Hadwen, Vice-President, Portfolio Management and Portfolio Manager with Signature Global Advisors of CI Investments Inc., is responsible for the analysis of financial services companies. Mr. Hadwen joined the investment management industry in 1993 in customer service at Mackenzie Financial Corporation moving on to perform mutual fund accounting and finally money market trading and administration at Mackenzie. In February 1998, Mr. Hadwen joined Infinity Investment Counsel as a research analyst covering financial services companies. Infinity Investment Counsel was acquired by Goodman & Company in 1999. He remained at Goodman & Company until August 2006. While at Goodman & Company, Mr. Hadwen’s responsibilities progressed to include both research analysis and portfolio management. Mr. Hadwen was most recently at KBSH before joining Signature Global Advisors. Mr. Hadwen holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an Honours Bachelor of Administrative Studies from Trent University.
