The focus is on building wealth for clients, in part because the team's members are themselves substantial investors in the Cambridge funds.



Brandon Snow Brandon Snow
Principal and Chief Investment Officer

Brandon Snow serves as the Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for leading the analyst team and directs the global research activities of the firm. Brandon is the Lead Portfolio Manager of Cambridge Canadian Equity Corporate Class and co-manager of Cambridge Asset Allocation Corporate Class and Cambridge Global Equity Corporate Class.

Brandon’s career in the investment industry began in 2003 and he joined Cambridge in 2011. He was named a Top 10 Investment Mind in Canada’s investment rankings by Brendan Wood International in 2014 and became one of Brendan Wood’s Canadian TopGun Investment Minds the following year.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Brandon was portfolio manager of two Canadian-focused equity funds at Fidelity Investments.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Robert Swanson Robert Swanson, CFA
Principal and Portfolio Manager

Robert Swanson serves as a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is the co-manager of Cambridge Asset Allocation, Cambridge Monthly Income Fund and Cambridge Global High Income Fund and manages the Canadian equity strategies for Cambridge’s Institutional clients.

Robert’s career in the investment industry began in 1983 and he joined Cambridge in 2011. He is the winner of the 2019 Lipper Award for the Tactical Balanced category*.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Robert was lead manager of several mutual funds at Fidelity Investments with combined assets under management exceeding $20 billion.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University, an MBA from Northwestern University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Stephen Groff Stephen Groff, CFA
Principal and Portfolio Manager

Stephen Groff serves as a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for managing the Cambridge dividend equity mandates as well as co-managing Cambridge Canadian Equity Fund and Cambridge Pure Canadian Equity Fund.

Stephen’s career in the investment industry began in 2007 and he joined Cambridge in 2011. He was co-winner of the Morningstar Breakout Fund Manager of the Year award, winner of the 2019 Lipper Award for the Canadian Dividend category** and a TopGun Investment Mind in the Brendan Wood International Canadian investment rankings from 2015 to 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Stephen served as a Research Analyst at Fidelity Investments where he also managed a portion of Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity Fund.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Greg Dean Greg Dean, CFA
Principal and Portfolio Manager

Greg Dean serves as a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for managing Cambridge’s small and mid-cap equity funds, including Cambridge Growth Companies Corporate Class, Cambridge Canadian Growth Companies Fund and Cambridge Pure Canadian Equity Fund.

Greg’s career in the investment industry began in 2008 and he joined Cambridge in 2011. He was co-winner of the Breakout Fund Manager of the Year at the Morningstar Awards for 2015 and was named a TopGun Investment Mind (Platinum Class) in the Brendan Wood International Canadian investment rankings from 2012 to 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Greg was a research analyst at Fidelity Investments where he managed a portion of Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity Fund.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Geoff Scott Geoff Scott, CFA
Institutional Portfolio Manager

Geoff Scott serves as Institutional Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for representing the Cambridge team with clients and involved in a broad range of analytics in support of the investment process.

Geoff’s career in the investment industry began in 2004 and he joined Cambridge in 2017.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Geoff gained experience in equity research and analysis of the North American industrials and consumer discretionary sectors as well as roles in risk and portfolio analytics at AGF Management. He also led a team responsible for investment manager due diligence at Manulife Financial.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from Suffolk University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Paul Marcogliese Paul Marcogliese, CFA
Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

Paul Marcogliese serves as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for managing Cambridge Bond Fund and is the co-manager of Cambridge Asset Allocation Corporate Class, Cambridge Global High Income and Cambridge Monthly Income Funds.

Paul’s career in the investment industry began in 1999 and he joined Cambridge in 2016. He is the winner of the 2019 Lipper Award for the Tactical Balanced category*.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Paul worked as a Portfolio Manager at MFS Investment Management Canada managing Canadian and international fixed-income portfolios. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at McLean Budden Asset Management.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Dan Rohinton Danesh Rohinton
Portfolio Manager

Danesh Rohinton serves as a Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for co-managing Cambridge Global Equity Corporate Class.

Danesh’s career in the investment industry began in 2012 and he joined Cambridge in 2013.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Danesh worked at BMO Capital Markets in New York as a research associate covering U.S. banks. He also has prior experience as a Research Analyst at Sentry Investment Management.

Danesh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Ian Turnbull Ian Turnbull
Equity Analyst

Ian Turnbull serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Ian’s career in the investment industry began when he joined Cambridge in 2015 after completing three four-month terms with the team as part of his university co-op program. Prior to joining Cambridge, Ian was involved in managing the Laurier Student Investment Fund*** while studying at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Jordan McNamee Jordan McNamee
Equity Analyst

Jordan McNamee serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Jordan’s career in the investment industry began when he joined Cambridge in 2014.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Jordan was involved in managing the Laurier Student Investment Fund*** while studying at Wilfrid Laurier University. He also worked at Gluskin Sheff and Associates Inc. as part of his university co-op program.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Derek Cangiano Derek Cangiano
Equity Analyst

Derek Cangiano serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Derek’s career in the investment industry began when he joined Cambridge in 2016 after completing two four-month terms with the team as part of his university co-op program. Prior to joining Cambridge, Derek was involved in managing the Laurier Student Investment Fund*** while studying at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Oliver Shao Oliver Shao, CFA
Equity Analyst

Oliver Shao serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Oliver’s career in the investment industry began in 2016 and he joined Cambridge in 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Oliver was a Research Analyst at McLean & Partners. Prior to that he was an Associate Analyst/Research Associate at Acumen Capital, as well as a Senior Associate in the Audit division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Oliver holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario, is a CPA (IL, USA) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Arthur Phillips Arthur Phillips
Equity Analyst

Arthur Phillips serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Arthur’s career in the investment industry began in 2009 and he joined Cambridge in 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Arthur was Vice President at The Catalyst Capital Group Inc. where he conducted and managed all aspects of the investment process. Previously, he served as an Investment Banking Analyst at two firms in the U.S. and as an Analyst with a U.S.-based hedge fund.

Arthur holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.



Lucas Michael Lucas Michael
Equity Analyst

Lucas Michael serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Lucas’ career in the investment industry began in 2018 and he joined Cambridge in 2019. Prior to joining Cambridge, Lucas was a research fellow at Ewing Morris Investment Partners.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) from Queen’s University.



Leon Xu Leon Xu
Equity Analyst

Leon Xu serves as an Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Leon’s career in the investment industry began in 2017 and he joined Cambridge in 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Leon served as an Associate, Global Energy, Portfolio Management and Research at CIBC Asset Management where he supported coverage of the global energy universe. Prior to that, Leon held co-op terms with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets.

Leon holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Richard Roth Richard Roth, CPA, CA, CFA
Equity Analyst

Richard Roth serves as an Equity Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Richard's career in the investment industry began in 2011 and he joined Cambridge in 2020.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Richard served as an Equity Research Analyst at TD Securities Inc. where he covered the financial sector. Prior to that, Richard provided audit and advisory services at BDO and Deloitte.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from Brock University, Chartered Professional Accountant designation and is a CFA charterholder.



Greg Cohen Greg Cohen, CFA
Equity Analyst

Greg Cohen serves as an Equity Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Greg's career in the investment industry began in 2013 and he joined Cambridge in 2020.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Greg served as an intern for a real estate technology start-up company in Germany. Following his undergraduate studies, Greg was an associate within the Fundamental Investing Group at the CPP Investment Board where he conducted proprietary research on opportunities within the global public equity consumer and industrial sectors. Greg was also a capital markets intern at Deutsche Bank in New York City and an investment banking intern at BMO Capital Markets in Toronto.

Greg holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and Bachelors of both Mathematics and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, respectively. He is also a CFA charterholder.



Adam Staszewski Adam Staszewski
Equity Analyst

Adam Staszewski serves as an Equity Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for providing the investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Adam's career in the investment industry began in 2015 and he joined Cambridge in 2020.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Adam served as an equity research associate analyst at National Bank Financial where he supported the coverage of the industrials and infrastructure sectors. Prior to that, Adam was a research analyst at the Bank of Canada.

Adam holds a Master of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University.



Ryan Ball Ryan Ball
Credit Analyst

Ryan Ball serves as a Credit Analyst (Fixed Income) at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for analyzing investment grade and high yield fixed income investments alongside the fixed Income portfolio managers.

Ryan's career in the investment industry began in 2005 and he joined Cambridge in 2020.

Prior to joining Cambridge Global Asset Management, Ryan served as an equity analyst at MFS Canada where he analyzed basic material and consumer equities in North America. Prior to that, Ryan was a portfolio analyst at the same company.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and is a CFA charterholder.



Grant Connor Grant Connor, JD, MBA
Fixed-Income Analyst

Grant Connor serves as a Fixed Income Analyst at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for the analysis of fixed-income securities.

Grant’s career in the investment industry began in 2008 and he joined Cambridge in 2013.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Grant was an associate analyst at National Bank Financial covering Canadian banks and life insurance. Prior to that, Grant was an associate analyst in structured finance at Moody’s Investors Service where he rated Canadian asset-backed securities.

Grant holds Juris Doctor and MBA degrees from the University of Toronto and is a member of the New York State Bar Association (called in August 2010).



Tyler Hildebrand Tyler Hildebrand
Trader

Tyler Hildebrand serves as a Trader at Cambridge Global Asset Management. He is responsible for portfolio implementation at Cambridge.

Tyler’s career in the investment industry began in 2010 and joined Cambridge in 2012. Tyler was named a TopGun Buy-Side Trader in the Brendan Wood International Canadian investment rankings in 2017 and 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Tyler worked at CI Investments as a Sales and Marketing specialist and then transitioned into private wealth management as a Portfolio Trader and Operations Analyst for CI's Private Counsel Division.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.



Sonia Mahadeo Sonia Mahadeo
Director, Investment Communications

Sonia Mahadeo serves as the Director, Investment Communications at Cambridge Global Asset Management where she is responsible for contributing to a broader client understanding of the organization’s investment strategies.

Sonia’s career in the investment industry began in 2012 and she joined Cambridge in 2019.

Sonia’s experience spans different industries and functional areas, including pension fund, banking and asset management within the financial services industry. She previously held roles at RBC in Investor Relations, OPSEU Pension Trust in the investment division and TD Greystone Asset Management as a Senior Consultant in the Marketing and Communications department.

Sonia holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario).



Diane Burke Diane Burke
Director, Investment Communications

Diane Burke serves as an Office Manager at Cambridge Global Asset Management. She is responsible for daily office operations and administrative functions for the team.

Diane’s career in the investment industry began in 1999 and she has been with the firm since 2015.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Diane spent six years at Marret Asset Management as an office administrator and operations associate. She has also worked for BMO Capital Markets where she supported sales and trading teams within the Canadian fixed-income and money market departments.



Nerojan Varnakumar Nerojan Varnakumar, CFA
Portfolio Trading Associate

Nerojan Varnakumar serves as a Portfolio Trading Associate. He is responsible for operations and supporting the trading desk at Cambridge Global Asset Management.

Nero’s career in the investment industry began in 2014 and he has supported Cambridge since 2015.

Nerojan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.



Amanda Ho Amanda Ho, CFA
Administrative Assistant

Amanda Ho serves as an Administrative Assistant at Cambridge Global Asset Management. She is responsible for supporting the analysts and general office administration.

Amanda’s career in the investment industry began in 2016 and she has been with the firm since 2019.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Amanda worked as a Receptionist at CI Investments.

Amanda holds a Business Administration diploma from George Brown College.

About the Lipper Awards Methodology
The Lipper Fund Awards, granted annually, are part of the Thomson Reuters Awards for Excellence and highlight funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. The Lipper Fund Awards are based on the Lipper Ratings for Consistent Return, which is a risk-adjusted performance measure calculated over 36, 60 and 120-month periods. The highest 20% of funds in each category are named Lipper Leaders for Consistent Return and receive a score of 5, the next 20% receive a score of 4, the middle 20% are scored 3, the next 20% are scored 2 and the lowest 20% are scored 1.
